Spades Tournament Rules

By entering any of our tournaments you agree to follow Zone COC and the following Wild Fire tournament rules. Any questions? Please ask host for clarification PRIOR to tournament play.
Please note that each Wild Fire host will set their own policy for misbids. Please pay attention. Tokens are allowed to play in + nics.
COMMUNICATION: Zone Friends may be left ON or on DO NOT DISTURB at host's discretion. Please pay attention to each host's rules.
KIBITZING IS PERMITTED. Always leave KIBITZ ON and HIDE your cards. 2 + 5 RULE: Allow 2 minutes for lag and 7 minutes for boots.
BREAKS are allowed at end of hands if last card is held. Try to refrain from breaks during a hand, esp. if nils are being covered .»º}:¦:{º«. No TABLE TALK or any discussion that tends to reveal a players hand is allowed and may = DQ. Last Hand All is NOT Table Talk in our tourney.
CHEATING will not be tolerated, however do NOT make accusations without proof. Notify a host immediately with suspicions. Please EXIT other rooms. It can slow your play and delay tourney. 
IMPORTANT: If you are lagging and need to reboot, please do so between games or between hands. Lagging may cause others to think you are communicating with your partner and if noticed in excess by a host, you may be DQ'd.
Vulgar LANGUAGE and rudeness will NOT be tolerated and may result in DQ. Kindness is Contagious, Catch It and See!
TIES (same score): Lowest bag team wins. If bags are also tied, reseat and play 3 more hands.
BYES: are sometimes needed to keep rounds even and reduce waiting. We do not use HLS's (Highest Losing Scores).
SUBS that play 3 full hands or more, will continue for the rest of the tourney, even if original pard returns. Any player that starts in Round One is NOT considered a sub. 
ALL Host decisions are FINAL to resolve disputes. Contact mplus@microsoft.com and/or wildprincess@comcast.net with any comments.
First team listed always has seating choice.

Please do not change text colors or use excessive amounts of emoticons during tournament play. If host considers your changes and/or use of emoticons excessive you may be DQ'd.
